Xbox 360 Emulator XeniOS Now Runs on iPhone
A groundbreaking breakthrough has emerged in the gaming community with the introduction of XeniOS, the first public alpha version of an Xbox 360 emulator designed for iPhones and other Apple devices.
Early Development of XeniOS
This innovative emulator, adapted from the well-known Xenia project, is still in its early stages of development. Users have reported success in launching Xbox 360 games directly on their iPhones, with approximately 13% of the console's library currently testable.
While only about 4% of titles have been deemed fully playable, including classics like BioShock and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the potential for a broader gaming experience is encouraging. However, around 7% of games face instability, resulting in graphical artifacts and performance drops.
Installation Requirements and Challenges
To run XeniOS, users need an iPhone equipped with an A16 Bionic chip or newer, such as the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 15. Additionally, Mac users can utilize both Apple Silicon and Intel models. However, the installation process is not straightforward; it requires downloading the IPA file from the official site and using SideStore for installation, then activating JIT through StikDebug.
